I will play Spanish Flamenco guitar music for the tapas event at The Lyric Rooms in Ashby de la Zouch.

Although The Lyric Rooms offer excellent cuisine it is important to clarify that they are not just a restaurant.

On the contrary, The Lyric Rooms are a performance venue and they host a variety of acts throughout the year.

I am therefore very pleased that they have contracted my services to play a program of Spanish Flamenco guitar music to accompany their Spanish tapas evening.

While it is true that I take my responsibility very seriously it is also true that people go out to have an enjoyable experience of food and music.

Because of this, I select my repertoire very carefully.

I like all people to enjoy my music, both those who may have previous experience of Spanish flamenco and those who may be enjoying this for the first time.

My program will include some sweet gentle pieces and other rather exciting Spanish styles.

Likewise, I will play several pieces of South American origin.

I like these because they have something of a more relaxed sway in contrast with some of the dramatic flamenco pieces.

Although I will not be playing a concert of classical guitar music there are nonetheless several well known Spanish classical pieces which my audiences always enjoy.

On that note I will do all I can to provide enjoyable Spanish music for the Tapas event at The Lyric Rooms.
