When the Hare and Hounds first contacted me they told me that they would like upbeat music.

This was good news because flamenco is by its nature an upbeat kind of music.

However, I did also suggest that it might be nice to contrast the strong pieces with some sweeter pieces.

The flamenco repertoire does indeed include various pieces that are quite gentle in their expression.

Typically, these softer pieces are not always performed in public.

Yet, I find that people do really enjoy listening to some more mellow sounds.

In fact, I believe that additionally some carefully selected Spanish classical pieces can be just right.
