The Sun Inn at Kislingbury, Northampton are presenting a Spanish night.

I am delighted that they have asked me to play traditional Spanish Flamenco guitar.

They will service Spanish sangria and food from 6.30pm until 9.00 pm.

I will play 3 sets of 30 minute duration with short breaks.

Traditionally, musicians play 2 45 minute sets but in the case of solo flamenco guitar I feel that the 30 recitals work better.

This also allows me to think carefully about the selection of pieces that I will present.

I plan to start my first set with some lovely Spanish classical pieces that are easy to listen to.

In the second and third sets I will introduce flamenco pieces and some more gentle South American styles.

My aim is to compliment the delicious Spanish food with a wide selection of authentic Spanish music.
