I will be playing Spanish Flamenco Guitar on Saturday 18 May at Mulberry Homes, Bedfordshire.
The event is the launching of the new 4 bedroom Petworth Show Home.
I will play several times as people arrive to accompany the prosecco and canapés.
Flamenco Guitar is now mainstream
I speak under correction but I guess that this was unheard anywhere outside of Spain some 40 years ago.
Sure, in Spain we flamenco guitarists have always played for a wide variety of occasions, including corporate events.
However, to me it is clear that people in Britain know so much more and have a much wider cultural experience.
This might be because people have now heard and seen so many flamenco shows.
We can say that flamenco now makes more sense to more people.
Because of this, I am so very much looking forward to playing flamenco guitar for these luxury homes.
